"For You light my lamp;
The LORD my God illumines my darkness"
(Psalm 18:28)
I will never forget an illustration I heard in a sermon once a few months ago. The pastor was remarking how darkness never covers up light, but light always covers up darkness. Take for instance a closet. When you open the door of your bedroom closet, which doesn't have a light, the bedroom doesn't get dark, but the closet does get light.
The illustration, of coarse, goes along with the fact that God is light, and darkness is light to Him. Just think and marvel on that simple, but yet powerful character of God. How does He bring light to your darkness, and to those around you?
