swept away by His love...

It is crazy how God continually works in our lives to change us and mold us in order that we may bring glory to His name. My name is Rachel, and God has changed my life completely.

I have lived in a few different places in my lifetime: Canada, ND, WI, and MN; but for the past few months Mesa, Arizona has been my home, and will continue to be until God says otherwise. God has changed my heart to long to serve Him in any way He calls me to, which I would not have been willing to do a few years ago. He has given me a passion to serve Him and love others. He has called my to be a Parish Builder at Calvary Free, and to be a part of His work here, which I am very excited about! But I will share more about that as time goes on!

As is the trend, I very much like coffee… I thoroughly enjoy a cup of coffee at any moment of the day, every day. It doesn’t matter what I am doing…as long as I have coffee, black to specialty. I get lost in music. I enjoy meeting God on the top of mountains and at the bottom as I gaze at His beautiful creation. It has been quite an adventure finding what other things I enjoy, since for the past few years I haven’t found that time to do so. Life is never dull, which I am glad for.

Lately, God has been continually sweeping me off my feet with His love for me. I am quieted by His love. I am overcome with joy by His love. And I can’t wait to tell someone what He has done for me. I don’t understand His love, but I praise and thank Him for it, and want to love Him more. It is so neat to see Him provide and give me just what I need at that moment. Life isn't easy, but He is always faithful. I don’t know why I am part of this blog team. I don’t have the qualifications or the writing talent, but I know and pray that God will work through me to bless your lives. He is good. He is faithful. I hope through this blog we can challenge you, encourage you, build you up, and most importantly glorify God!
