So, I was born in Cloquet, Mn, which is also the town of my current residence where I teach a high school Bible class at a small Christian Academy and am the youth leader of the church in which I grew up. I'm a guy that enjoys playing most sports, especially ultimate frisbee and soccer, I drink alot of coffee (I've actually checked into making an IV straight into my system, then I realized I would miss out on the flavor, which is the best part:)), and I enjoy reading with a few of my favorite authors being George MacDonald, C.S. Lewis, and Oswald Chambers. Really though, the passion of my life is to bring the message of reconciliation to God through Jesus Christ to those who need to hear it.
A few years ago, roughly five, actually really close to being exactly five, God did something in my heart that has radically changed me and as a result He has taken me and shaped me in ways that I never expected and asked me to do things that I never thought that I would. One of those things is writing. It almost just kind of happened that I found that I enjoyed writing and thus that is what the Lord has allowed me to spend some time doing.
I'm totally stoked to be a part of this blogging team and am excited to see what God is going to do through it. I look forward to being with you every Tuesday and hope you are blessed by all that is written on here.
If you want to get to know me a little bit more you can check out my personal blog at justinkantonen.blogspot.com.
Peace out, homies
Nice start! I want to hear more about the radical change 5 years ago sometime.
ReplyDeleteThanks man, and I certainly will touch on that again in the times to come.
ReplyDeleteJustin, I'm glad you're a coffee drinker too. Maybe someday we can all get together in real life and drink some good coffee. :) Thanks for being willing to share your heart for the Lord!
ReplyDeleteI will apologize in advance for the things I write. Today's apology - sorry I didn't talk about coffee as much as I should have.
ReplyDeleteWell Tim, the only way I can forgive you is if you mix up some Montana brew the next time I see you.
